Welcome to NightLily(“we,” “us,” or “our”) — a platform for AI-powered creative storytelling, adventures, and immersive character interactions.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NightLily, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use NightLily. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are of legal adult age in your jurisdiction.

Nature of Service

NightLily generates AI-created fictional content focused on creative storytelling, adventures, and character interactions — organized into your own Storybots (story worlds) and played through with a Persona (your character) across one or more Scenes. All interactions are with AI, not real people. NightLily is a text-based platform — it does not generate images, voice, or audio. The only images involved are ones you choose to upload yourself, as a Persona avatar or a Storybot cover image.

NightLily offers different subscription tiers (Free, Pro, Max), each with its own usage limits (such as message allowances, memory capacity, and content length) shown in the app’s Settings page. We may change these limits or introduce paid features at any time.

Prohibited Conduct

Users must refrain from content, including in Scenes, Persona or Storybot creation, or prompts, that:

  • Is offensive, insensitive, upsetting, meant to disgust, or creepy.
  • Is defamatory, discriminatory, or mean-spirited, particularly targeting religion, race, sexual orientation, gender, or national/ethnic origin.
  • Contains realistic portrayals of harm towards people or animals.
  • Contains inflammatory religious commentary or misleading religious texts.
  • Capitalizes on recent or current events, like violent conflicts, terrorist attacks, or epidemics.
  • Glorifies real-life violence or crime, including portrayal of known violent criminals.

Additionally, you agree not to:

  • Use the Service if under 18.
  • Request or generate content involving minors (under 18).
  • Request or generate non-consensual acts, extreme violence, or illegal activities.
  • Upload, request, or attempt to generate realistic deepfakes, photorealistic imagery, or any real-person likenesses. NightLily is a text-based platform focused on anime and fantasy styles only — uploaded avatars/covers must not be photorealistic images of real people.
  • Base Storybots or Personas on real individuals who have publicly stated they do not wish to be sexualized or objectified. Fictional characters and public figures are generally permitted, provided they follow all other guidelines and no realistic imagery is involved.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, abuse, or overload the AI.
  • Violate any applicable laws.

We reserve the right to review, remove content, or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Intellectual Property Rights

Content You Submit. When you submit content to NightLily (including prompts, Storybot/Persona descriptions, uploaded avatar or cover images, or other inputs), you confirm that you either own the content or have all necessary rights and permissions to submit it.

You retain ownership of your submitted content. By submitting it, you grant NightLily a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, and sublicensable license to use, copy, display, modify, distribute, and create derivative works from your content solely for the purposes of operating, improving, and providing the Service (including moderation, training improvements where consented, and feature development).

Storybots, Personas & Generations. You own the Storybots/Personas you create and the content you generate through your interactions with them (subject to the limitations below). When you interact with a Storybot created by another user, ownership of that Storybot remains with NightLily or its original creator. NightLily may use anonymized or aggregated Scenes, generations, and interactions to improve the Service. We do not claim ownership of your personal generations, but we retain the broad license described above for operational and improvement purposes.

NightLily Content, Software, and Trademarks.The Service, including its design, features, AI models, text, graphics, logos, and underlying software, are owned by NightLily or its licensors and protected by Singapore and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our prior written permission. “NightLily,” our logos, and other trademarks are our property. You may not use them without permission.

Third-Party Material & AI-Generated Content

NightLily is not responsible for third-party content or for any errors, omissions, or issues in AI-generated outputs. AI content can be unpredictable — you use it at your own risk and are responsible for ensuring your use complies with all laws.

Legal Compliance and Data Preservation

We may preserve and disclose your content or data to comply with legal obligations, enforce these Terms, respond to lawful requests from authorities, or protect the rights and safety of NightLily, our users, or the public.

Your Suggestions

Any feedback, ideas, or suggestions you provide to us become our property, and we may use them freely without compensation or attribution.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee accuracy, safety, or uninterrupted access. AI-generated narrative content can be unpredictable — use responsibly for creative purposes.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
